These topics are interesting to me. I am an American woman and am married, have lived abroad for many years at one time. I think its best to marry people abroad in general. My husband is not American and I prefer my children marry non Americans. Not because I am anti American, but because there is no social support to get married, stay married and have family system in the US. It means everything to have family support as a woman. At least Asian cultures in general are supportive of family. As well as masculinity and femininity still being honored. I see it even in schools. Had to put our son in an all boys private school to keep him away from certain things.

So many questions. Do Filipinas expect to define the relationship very early on?: "We are in a FWB relationship." And do they really sleep around this much? As implied in this video? I thought they were slightly more conservative. Maybe I'm naive, I've never been there. It also sounds like you simply cannot get attached to these ladies emotionally in any way. Unless it develops into an exclusive long term relationship leading to marriage. Like you could be dating or FWB for weeks or months, then one day they're just gone. Please correct me if I am wrong, but this is the impression I get from all these RUclips videos.

hi Reekay, I like Stoic Bond, interesting channel. About Willie, I think the issue is tied to his isolation. Basically living in a social vacuum for work, he doesn't get to try different ways to interact with women. So he's like a high-gain microphone in an empty room. All he hears, is his own feedback, instead of other voices providing a broader, healthier perspective. Failure is an important part of learning, but he needs to know "the theory" of healthy interactions, to develop the social tools to actually participate in a great relationship.

Watching this video & reading comments here gave me a mixed emotion as a Filipina. I understand that there are some Filipinas who are so enticed to marry a foreigner believing that the quality of their lives will improve including their family. Still, it depends on the Filipina you will get. If you don't want to be ripped off choose a Filipina with a good career who lives a modest lifestyle. Also, communicate your boundaries and expectations to her before you go any further in your relationship. When I went to Palawan at the hotel where I was staying I met an American guy, he smiled at me but I moved away from my gaze pretending I didn't notice him. I also have this bias that some foreigners think that all Filipinas are interested in them. There are strong independent Filipinas who are looking for real love and know how to respect themselves. That's my 10 cents about this topic. Wishing everyone well in your exploration of love and relationship.
